The Invisalign approach is the most well received treatment modality seen by Dr. Shih when patient look for clear option to straighten their teeth. We are treating girls as young as 12 and boys as young as 14. While many Cosmetic cases benefit from Braces treatment before placement of Implants and bridges, Invisalign® is a preferred method for most patients. For severe crowding in adult cases, like Damon can fast and quickly de-rotate and resolve crowding so that Invisalign® can be used secondarily. A case started with Damon and finished with Invisalign® costs an additional $2800. Damon system can also work alone without adding Invisalign® . We are using the possible new techniques to make you smile the EZ way.
Damon System Brackets cost only $5100 for cash price, records included.
We can also provide our patients with Viazis® bioefficient braces, the triangular orthodontic bracket system that has been known to significantly reduce the average treatment time for braces. There are no guarantees as to the length of time required, but most of our cases take about one year. Viazis brackets system costs only $5400.

How is it possible to be true?
The few visits required to straighten teeth (as few as 4) make now possible to treat some cases for less than $3000 with our technique. Normally, a braces treatment cost in States is charged between $4500-8000, depends on case. What is your Policy of Insurance if I would like to use my insurance for payment?

What are my options if I do not want metal brackets?
First, you should consider a clear & Invisible way to straight you teeth, without wearing
braces - Invisalign®.
A brand new millennium technology has been developed which uses
computer scanners and virtual reality to plan the gradual movement of
teeth by clear overlay retainer appliances.
Invisalign works through a series of invisible, removable, and
comfortable aligners that no one can tell you're wearing. The overlay
appliances are constructed via computer with only ½ mm movement of the
malposed (crooked) teeth for each clear overlay appliance. The
treatment consists of a series of these clear overlay retainer
appliances.
The number of appliances required to straighten the teeth completely
varies according to the severity of the malocclusion (bad bite). They
are designed to be worn 24 hours per day, with the exception of eating
and oral hygiene.

How Does Invisalign® Work?
- You wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
- As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move - little by little, week by week - until they have straightened to the final position Dr. Shih has prescribed.
- You'll visit Dr. Shih about once every 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
- Although the time and total number of aligners needed will vary from patient to patient, total treatment time averages 9-24 months, and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30.
