Teeth bleaching or whitening is a process that makes a
subtle and attractive change in your appearance without involving any
dental work.
At Scripps Center of Cosmetic and Implant
Dentistry; Dr. Shih San Diego office in Scripps Ranch, we offer the
ZOOM 2 Whitening System as the preferred teeth whitening
method.
ZOOM 2 is widely recognized as the fastest, most
effective way to whiten your teeth. A combination a plasma blue light and
bleaching gel creates a chemistry of tooth whitening that results in a
smile averaging 8 to 9 shades whiter. The process is simple and takes
about 90 minutes from start to finish. The teeth whitening results are
immediate.
Teeth whitening is ideal for patients with healthy,
unrestored teeth. Although ZOOM 2 may remove some stains from crowns,
veneers or colored fillings, it is possible that existing restorations
visible in front of the mouth may need to be replaced to bring out the
optimum effect of your new ZOOM 2.
This procedure can be done with our EZ sedation or without sedation.
You may choose to have
ZOOM 2 done at Dr. Shih office and continue to see your
current dentist.
